The Junior Christian Endeavour is a Christ centred, church based organisation offering an action packed programme for children from the age of seven to thirteen. Its motto is "For Christ and the Church" and its aims are to lead children and young people to the Lord Jesus Christ, and then to train them to serve Him within their local church.
Christian Endeavour is international and interdenominational and its members are given the opportunity to meet Endeavourers from other areas at camp and the annual convention. The children and young people are encouraged to lead their own weekly meeting, which includes Bible stories, singing, chain prayer, drama and much more. Their is also the opportunity to participate in the CE Award Scheme.
CE meets on a Monday evening between 6.15 and 7.15 from September to May. Teen CE for those 13 years and above also meet at this time in the commitee room.
New members are always welcome. |

Marion and Derek Hutchinson plan to commence a new session of GriefShare for a 10 week period starting on Thursday 16th September at 8pm.
These evenings will include a helpful 40 minute video and also provided some written material designed to help folk find strength, healing and tools to move forward in the daily walk through the deep pain of grief. No matter how long it’s been since a loved one or friend has died, grief can make the holidays, for example, a painful experience. If you or someone you know would like to know about future events, please contact Marion through the website or phone the church phone number. |
