In October 2009, Provost Russell Clearie hosted a Civic Reception to mark the centenary of our church building in Kemp Street.

This was attended by 80 people from our Fellowship and was held in the South Lanarkshire Council Offices in Almada Street, Hamilton.

Provost Clearie presented our pastor, Derek Hutchinson, with an engraved rose bowl and he presented the Provost with a vase engraved with the words "Jesus said, Come to me.....and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28,29).
