Exodus Holiday Club - Final Night

Last night of holiday club at Exodus and what a fabulous night it has been!

I feel sad that it's over. Being part of the team this week has been a privilege and a joy. As we pray before the club starts, the team is aware of the chatter from the children as they wait to get in. Their enthusiasm is infectious and I've been so impressed by their willingness to listen and learn. They're desperate to tell you the memory verse from the previous night(s) and to see their faces light up when they're told how well they've done does your heart good.

Who will be the winning team?

They ask amazing questions for children so young and I love the fact that that they want to know more and more about God and Jesus. The children have listened so patiently and quietly during the messages from Brian and on Thursday, from Ross. The very fact that they do so well when answering the quiz questions on the message only serves to prove that they've been a captive audience.

I thank God that prayers have been answered in abundance this week. From attendance numbers to dry weather for outdoor games and above all for an amazing time this evening with a great number of families attending the BBQ. These children, beloved of God, deserve the best we can give them on His behalf.

BBQ time!

Please continue to pray for the seeds that have been sown this week, that what has been planted in wee minds and hearts will be nurtured and that souls will be saved.

God is good!

"This is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us -whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of Him." 1 John ch 5; v14, 15
