Day 9 of the 30 day Christian Music Challenge - 30 days of only Christian Music, no radio and no secular music - to encourage to focus our hearts on Jesus.
Now many will know that I cannot sing. Im not just being humble here, I really cannot sing. It is that bad that whoever sits next to me on Sunday tends to burst out laughing as my crackly tuneless voice attempts to sing the worship songs. It doesn't bother me, mainly because that is not what worship is about. Sure it helps if you can sing in tune, but what God really cares about is the heart and motivation behind the worship!
Psalm 100:1-2 says - "A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!"
When singing songs to our God it should come from a Joy filled heart, one that is Glad to be a child of God and one that cannot help but sing praises. Our song today speaks is called Shout Hosanna from Passion. It really is a foot stomping, lift your hands praise song...I love it! Shout Hosanna, Jesus he saves. Shout Hosanna, He rose from the grave! Now isn't that something to sing about (even if you sound like me!)
Thanks for checking in today, continue the 30 day challenge, tomorrow (day 10) with more Christian Music
